Vintage Brass Monkey Balance Scale, Scales of Justice in Windham, NH

This vintage brass balance scale offers a unique twist on the scales of justice with the balance bar being held by a monkey with long arms. The scale finely detailed and has no dents or dings. The brass has a nice patina and should be cleaned but not polished. The scale is sold as I found it. The scale measures about 11 3/4 inches tall and the balance arms are about 10 3/4 inches wide. The base is about 5 1/4 inches in diameter.
